Deep in the heart of the jungle, a baby monkey named Milo loved bananas more than anything. He would climb the tallest trees and swing from branch to branch, always searching for the ripest, juiciest bananas. But Milo had one big problem—he never wanted to share.
One sunny morning, Milo discovered a giant bunch of golden bananas hanging from a tree. His eyes widened with excitement. “These are all mine!” he squealed, grabbing as many as his little hands could hold. His jungle friends—Leo the parrot, Tia the turtle, and Benny the rabbit—watched from below.
“Can we have some, Milo?” asked Tia.
“No! I found them first!” Milo said, stuffing a banana into his mouth.
But as he tried to carry more than he could handle, disaster struck! The bananas slipped from his grasp and tumbled into the river. The strong current carried them away, leaving Milo with nothing but regret. His stomach rumbled, and he realized his big mistake.
Seeing Milo’s sad face, Leo, Tia, and Benny felt sorry for him. Instead of scolding him, they each offered him a piece of their food.
“Next time, share with us, Milo,” said Benny kindly. “Sharing makes everyone happy.”
Milo nodded, feeling grateful and ashamed. He had been so greedy that he lost everything, but his friends still cared for him. From that day on, Milo shared his bananas, learning that kindness and generosity brought more joy than keeping everything to himself.
And so, the little monkey’s big mistake turned into a valuable lesson—sharing is not just about giving but also about making friends and spreading happiness.
