Old Mother Monkey PINKA Seems Careless with Her New Baby

Old Mother Monkey PINKA seems careless with her new baby, often leaving it alone on low branches or the forest floor. While other mothers stay close, grooming and protecting their infants, PINKA appears distant, distracted by foraging or resting. The tiny baby clings nervously, calling softly when she moves away. Yet, beneath this behavior, there may be inexperience or hidden instinct at work. Sometimes she returns just in time, watching from afar as her baby learns small steps of independence. What looks like neglect could be a rough form of teaching, though the baby’s fragile trust and safety still hang in delicate balance.
