Deep in the forest, a small baby monkey lived among a large troop where life was not always easy. He was younger and smaller than the others, and every day he tried his best to keep up. However, some of the older monkeys treated him unkindly, pushing him away during playtime or taking food when he was distracted. These moments made him feel lonely, but even in sadness, he refused to give up.
The little monkey would sit high on a branch, watching the forest glow in the afternoon sunlight. He reminded himself that he was strong and that every day was a chance to start again. Even though he wished for a friend to stand beside him, he continued learning how to take care of himself. His heart stayed gentle, and he never stopped hoping that one day the troop would accept him.
One afternoon, an older female monkey noticed his struggle. Instead of ignoring him, she shared her fruit and sat quietly beside him. It was a small gesture, but for the little monkey, it meant everything. For the first time in a long while, he did not feel completely alone. And with that moment of kindness, hope began to grow.
